It\u2019s no secret that we\u2019re facing an unprecedented climate crisis, but not all hope is lost. In fact, experts agree that even the smallest consistent actions can make a big difference. Bongani Mnisi<\/u><\/a>, Board Chairperson of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee of the Breede-Gouritz Catchment Management Agency, says that this year, Earth Day is the perfect opportunity to recommit ourselves to protecting our precious natural environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bongani who is a renowned South African conservationist has been passionate about the environment his whole life. Having grown up in the breath-taking province of Mpumalanga, nature has always been close to his heart. He studied Nature Conservation, and eventually obtained a Masters in Botany. Today he works in the Mother City and is driven to create environmental spaces that encourage everyone in the community to enjoy them. \u201cEarth Day highlights that a good quality of life is underpinned by a healthy environment,\u201d he says. \u201cWithout it, our lives as we know it would cease to exist.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bongani encourages everyone to do their part on Earth Day, and beyond, with small actions that can have a big impact. \u201cWhether it\u2019s planting a tree or cultivating a vegetable garden or cycling to work \u2013 every bit counts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the many changes Bongani has made in his life, he\u2019s also committed to being a conscious consumer by wearing workwear that is as hardworking as it is kind to the environment, for this reason, he chooses Sweet-Orr<\/u><\/a>.
